Rationale

Few institutions from academia and research have explored the local perspective of population studies in Pakistan, nevertheless, a considerable gap remains in understanding the indigenous perspective of population issues from an interdisciplinary lens. Based on this rationale and an aim to produce interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary knowledge, the Centre of Excellence for Population and Wellbeing Studies (CePwS) was established at School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H) at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in collaboration with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
